AgeEra Privacy Policy

AgeEra ("we," "us," or "our") provides AI-powered photo editing, including age transformation, cartoon and anime effects, future-baby previews, photo restoration, and filters. This policy explains what personal data we collect, how we collect it, every purpose we use it for, and when we send it to a third party.

Third-party AI sharing, in short

• What we send: only the photo you choose for an AI feature (an image that may show a face), plus the age number or baby-gender option you select for that feature. We do not send your name, phone number, email, contacts, precise location, or account password with that photo.
• Where we send it: Tencent Cloud, at ft.tencentcloudapi.com (age and cartoon effects) and facefusion.tencentcloudapi.com (future-baby face fusion). Operator: Tencent Cloud / Tencent Cloud Computing.
• When we ask: before the first photo is sent, the app shows a consent dialog that names this data and Tencent Cloud. Nothing is sent unless you tap Agree & Continue. Not Now cancels the feature.
• Protection: Tencent Cloud is our processor. It may use each photo only to finish that request, must protect it with safeguards equivalent to this policy (including HTTPS), and must delete it within 24 hours. We do not sell your photos.

1. Data We Collect and How We Collect It

Photos and face images you choose

When you pick a photo from your library or camera for age change, cartoon or anime, future baby, restoration, or a filter, we collect that image so we can create the result you asked for. These images can show a face and facial features. We collect a photo only when you select it for a feature. We do not scan your whole photo library in the background.

With the photo, we also collect the setting for that request only:

• Age effects: the target age you set on the slider (a number).
• Future baby: the two photos you select, and the gender option you choose (boy, girl, or random), used only to pick a fusion template. This is an entertainment preview. It is not a medical, genetic, or identity analysis.

Device and diagnostic data

When the app starts, and when you send feedback, we automatically collect a random app identifier stored on your device, app version, device model, operating system version, country or region code, and the time of the request. We use this to load app settings, diagnose problems, and read feedback. This data does not include your photos.

Advertising data

If you see ads, Google AdMob (Google LLC) and the Meta (Facebook) SDK may collect an advertising identifier (including the iOS advertising identifier if you allow tracking), device information, coarse location derived from IP address, and ad interactions. Where required, Google’s User Messaging Platform asks for your ads consent. A region lookup may also be sent to api.ip.sb. Advertising partners do not receive the photos you edit.

2. How We Use Your Data

We use personal data only for these purposes:

• To generate the photo result you request, either on your device or through the Tencent Cloud AI services named below.
• To save a result to your photo library when you ask us to.
• To operate the app, load configuration, and fix crashes and errors.
• To read and reply to feedback or ad reports you submit.
• To show and measure advertisements.

No person at AgeEra reviews your photos to create the AI result. We do not sell, rent, or trade your photos or facial images.

3. Third-Party AI: What Is Sent, Where, and Your Consent

Some AI features send your selected photo off your device to a third-party artificial intelligence service. This section is the full description of that sharing.

What data is transmitted

• The image file of the photo you selected (compressed JPEG image data). If the photo shows a face, the facial image is included in that file.
• For age transformation: the target age number you selected.
• For future-baby fusion: both selected photos, and the gender option used to choose a template.

We do not transmit your name, phone number, email address, contacts, photos you did not select, precise GPS location, or sign-in credentials to this AI service.

Where the data is transmitted

The recipient is Tencent Cloud (Tencent Cloud Computing; websites and APIs under tencentcloudapi.com). Your photo is sent directly from the app to one of these services, only for the feature you tapped:

• Age transformation — Tencent Cloud Face Transformation, action ChangeAgePic, at https://ft.tencentcloudapi.com.
• Cartoon and anime effects — Tencent Cloud Face Transformation, action FaceCartoonPic, at https://ft.tencentcloudapi.com.
• Future baby — Tencent Cloud Face Fusion, action FuseFace, at https://facefusion.tencentcloudapi.com.

We do not send these photos to any other AI provider. Advertisers, analytics companies, and other users do not receive your original or edited photos.

Why it is transmitted

The only purpose is to create the edited image you requested and return that image to your device. Tencent Cloud may not use your photo for its own advertising, may not sell it, and may not use it independently of that request.

Consent before any transmission

Before the first photo is transmitted to Tencent Cloud, the app displays a dialog titled “Use AI on Your Photos?”. The dialog states that the photos you select are sent to Tencent Cloud (tencentcloudapi.com) to create age effects, cartoons, and related results; that Tencent Cloud uses each photo only for that request, deletes it within 24 hours, and protects it to the same standard as this policy; and that you can change the choice in Settings.

Transmission happens only after you tap Agree & Continue. If you tap Not Now, we do not send the photo and we do not run that cloud AI feature.

You can withdraw consent at any time in Settings → Tencent Cloud AI. After you turn it off, we will ask again before sending any further photo. Withdrawing consent does not affect photos already processed.

Equivalent protection by the recipient

Tencent Cloud receives this data as our service provider (processor), not as an independent controller of your photos. We require protections that are the same or equivalent to this policy:

• Use is limited to completing the single edit you requested.
• The photo is transmitted over HTTPS.
• The photo is deleted within 24 hours after processing.
• The photo is not sold and is not shared with advertisers or other app users.
• Tencent Cloud must apply security measures appropriate to a facial image, consistent with its published privacy policy and our processing terms.

AgeEra does not keep a copy of the photo on our own servers for this AI request. The result is returned to your device. Images cached on your device stay there until you delete them or remove the app.

4. Other Recipients

• Our server at https://dkeu.picailens.com receives the device and diagnostic data in Section 1, and the text of feedback you choose to send. It does not receive the photos sent to Tencent Cloud for AI editing.
• Google LLC (AdMob and User Messaging Platform) and Meta Platforms, Inc. (Facebook SDK) receive the advertising data described above, under their own privacy policies: https://policies.google.com/privacy and https://www.facebook.com/privacy/policy. They do not receive your edited photos.
• api.ip.sb may receive your IP address to determine a coarse region. It does not receive your photos.

5. Your Choices

• Decline or withdraw AI sharing in the consent dialog or in Settings → Tencent Cloud AI.
• Refuse photo library or camera access in iOS Settings. The related feature will not run.
• Refuse tracking when iOS asks. Ads may then be less relevant.
• Delete the app to remove the local identifier and cached images stored on the device.
• Email us to ask what device data we hold or to ask us to delete feedback you sent.

6. Retention and Security

Photos sent for AI editing are not stored on AgeEra servers. Tencent Cloud deletes each photo within 24 hours. Diagnostic logs and feedback are kept only as long as needed to operate the app and handle your request, and then deleted or de-identified. Transfers to Tencent Cloud and to our server use HTTPS.

7. Children’s Privacy

AgeEra is not directed to children under 13. We do not knowingly collect personal data from children under 13. If you believe a child has provided personal data, contact us and we will delete it.

8. Changes

If we change what we send, who receives it, or why, we will update this page and the date above before the change applies. Where the change materially expands AI sharing, we will ask for your consent again in the app before sending a photo.
